Here is a little bit about me
Ian Thomas
Owner & Senior Landscaper
I started up Landscape IT Surrey a few years after my eldest son was diagnosed with additional needs. Most of my family are tradesmen and over the years I’ve done everything from general building to decorating contracts. Before starting the landscaping business I’d moved into Operational Management behind a desk. I missed working with my hands, being creative and being outdoors. The job didn’t suit me and I needed more flexibility to be around when my family needed me. This has not only given me that but also the opportunity to teach my two sons a trade that could benefit them in the future. Who knows maybe one or both will land up working with their old dad.
I love being a Landscaper. It gives me a great sense of achievement and the opportunity to express my creativity. The hard work really pays off when I see the look on my customers faces as their gardens are transformed.
